It is close by the river ness so it's really comforting and peaceful to stroll every morning before you get to the town center. In this way, you will enjoy and appreciate the beauty of the place more.

The toilet is wet in the morning because of the cold seeping in.

Very good

I love the location, would definately recommend it and certainly stay there again.

The room size and facilities, hot water shower, good TV, well heated, excellent location. The kitchen facilities were excellent as well.

The basin in the bathroom was very small and had no hot water, difficult to shave.

A great location, nice size single room with good facilities. Nice hot water shower. The kitchen facilities were great, everything you need. Nice and warm considering it get very cold outside.

Wash hand basin in the bathroom was too small, only suitable for hand wash. No hot water to this basin as well.

Potentially a useful place to stay, but needs updating in some areas.

Good location a short, pleasant walk to riverside walks, town centre, and other attractions. My single room was basic but ok. My travel companion's sunny upstairs double room was a good size, with a modern electric shower, microwave and fridge, and good internet connection. A very well equipped, and well organised, shared kitchen made self catering easy, with a large Aldi store conveniently close.

Lack of heating and hot water for much of my week's stay. The ground floor room was chilly, even at the end of September. There was very obviously a problem with the boiler for the whole house. After the management asked me over the phone to re-light the boiler a number of times, a gas engineer finally arrived at the end of the week so the problem may now be fixed. The use of Swikly to take a deposit against damage and provide access: I had paid in full (through Booking.com - non-refundable), so when an email arrived asking for a payment I assumed it was a scam and deleted it. This left me out in the dark and rain with no way to get in when I arrived since it turned out access was by keycode through Swikly. It was sorted out over the phone, but not a good start!
