Would stay again!

Lovely little island! Speed boat transfer from Male to the resort was about 45 min, there was Wifi onboard and got offered a cool towel and a bottle of water. Special thanks to the chef who came to personally speak with us on our first night as I emailed the hotel beforehand regarding multiple food allergies. Food was great even for a picky eater. We took half board, so ate at the buffet where they had a good selection of different foods, every night was different. Really casual resort, buffet restaurant seating area has sand floor and some people wont even wear shoes at dinner. Unlimited drinking water was supplied which as a nice surprise. Room service was great. Each room has their own assigned sun lounges at the beach you can move around (however this was not mentioned to us at check in, we just noticed the room numbers on the lounges). Nevi bar is a great place to sit and just watch the beach, ocean and sunset (will have to mention the service is not always good). I have mentioned a lot of negatives but all in all we would stay at this resort again as the positives outweigh the negatives for us personally.

Only 10 sun lounges at the pool and people reserve these first thing in the morning and some wont even be at the pool for hours, pool staff guy wont do anything unless you go actually talk to him. We booked an upper floor room with an ocean VIEW, you can see a few glimpses of the ocean through the trees but it surely is not an ocean view youd expect (I have attached a picture of the ocean view to this review). We expected the resort being overpriced but as it turned out it was waaayy overpriced, we had to go buy some more sunscreen, 1 little tub cost us $44 USD. The island has only one little shop which mainly sells souvenirs so make sure to bring everything you need with you. Wifi on the island was really slow and bad quality. Lots of upselling, for example you could only reserve a table at the Christmas party by buying a bottle of wine. Service at Nevi bar is not great, theres a lot of guys working but still sometimes you have to wait a good while to get your order in and a few times a same server asked for our order and we never got it so we had to re-order with a different guy after waiting for a loooong time.

Nice natural island

The food is really good , well prepared and tasty .It is really a plus . The island is kept as natural as possible you just walk on the sand all over the place , including in the restaurant , the beach is nice .The resort is correctly evaluated for a 4 * resort .

No kids area where to stay and play . A minimal kids zone where to spend some time , at least in a rainy day , should be organized on the island .

We booked one of the apartments and the room was very nice. From walking around the island, all spots appear to be nice. When they found out we were on our honeymoon, they even upgraded us to a water villa for free for the last 2 days. Super friendly staff and great food. The dive center was good and the house reef us actually fantastic especially for night diving. Absolutely must do that!

The beach chair arrangement is kind of dumb. No one tells you, but each chair has a number printed on the back and you can only lay on the chair for your room. But sometimes your chair is nowhere near your room it seems.

Clean place, which is good value for money. Very limited entertainment and a bad Dive center.

The property was well maintained and clean, we spent 7 days on the island and were offered daily snorkeling trips. The breakfast was consistently good though it had a smaller selection when compared to few bigger resorts.

There is very little entertainment available on the island after sunset. Especially since the WiFi is very very slow and doesnt connect for most part. With regard to the dinner buffet, the meals were mostly bland. The dive center guides (except Paul who was very nice) were very unfriendly / bordering rude and was the biggest disappointment of our trip.
