Very good

small but convenient

Great location. Friendly staff. the 3 nescafe portions was a bonus. Quiet. Fair price.

Small bedroom, no room for a chair to leave stuff on it or take a rest. Only outside but it was freezing. The amenities were just for a coffee, no food could be made. Not even a turkish coffee.

Disappointing

Wouldn't recommend

We had 2 rooms for 2 couples. It was pretty clean, on a first glance - the sheets, the towels etc. We found some water, some instant coffee and some tea in the room. We also got some slippers. The stuff is nice and trying to help.

In one room there were some mold spots on the ceiling. In one room we found 3 cockroaces. In the last night we spent here, it was cold. The heating system didn't work. The air conditioning didn't work. The guy from the reception tried to fix our issue, but the conclusion was that there are technical problems and there isn't much to do. Let me say that in one of the rooms the problem seemed to be the remote control of the air conditioning and we let it at the reception in the morning but nothing was changed in the evening. He brought us an electric heater for one room but told us that there is no other left for the other room. After 30 minutes he came with a second electric heater but it was all broken and dangerous. Luckily the room is small and as we were two people under a blanket it was fine. The place is closed to taksim square, but keep in mind that in the evening it lookes kind of dangerous. Not very reliable people on the streets.

Value For money.(25 euro/ night) Very close to Taksim square. In a few minutes walk you are close to istiak street, Taksim square, Taksim metro station ( you can use Istanbul cart on metro to reach anywhere in Istanbul without the issue of traffic,a cost effective way of traveling)

No lift,my room was on the 3rd floor. The aircon was broken,the guy in reception said I can't check it until the next day, advised me to leave the balcony door open. The room is very small.

Superb

Cosy, quiet, light and well-furnished room with hospitable staff in a perfect location.

The room was very well equipped - cupboards to store your belongings, a fridge, a kettle, crockery, a cosy little sitting area and an ottoman. It was the most practical and cosy room we've ever had. It was also bright, with windows on two sides and very accommodating staff.

The only difficult thing was that as a couple we were not used to sleeping on a shared mattress under a shared blanket. :-) We'll look out for this in the next room.
