Good

Clean, comfortable and quiet.

Room was clean and comfortable and very quiet given hotel is next to a busy road. Would use again.

Woukd have liked a bit of breakfast for price paid. I also prefer a firmer mattress but that's my personal taste.

Shame as it could be a great hotel if only the owners cared.

Location and lovely building. Could be great hotel but its completely neglected.

Cold rooms. Radiators either not on or didnt work. There was a small plug in radiator in the room when we arrived so obviously are of the issue but it wasnt adequate for the size of the room. Bathroom very tired. No milk provided in the room for tea or coffee. Didnt se ea member of staff the entire time we were there except to check in.

Great location but facilities tired.

Location is brilliant for events in events in Taunton

The room is a bit tired but comfortable. The duvet was thin and patchy and probably needs replacing especially this time of year. The curtains could do with being replaced to something that easily covers the windows especially overlooking the road. The bathroom could do with a redecorate and a mildew scrub down.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. They do not appreciate that guests are their livelihood and treat them like an imposition

Location and car parking

On arrival had to ring bell at reception. We were given key and said to him we had to pay. He said the money had been taken and we had been notified. He walked off. Customer service was non existent. No welcome or mention of dinner or breakfast. It was soulless. The radiators in room and en suite didnt work. There was one heater in room but not switched on so room freezing on arrival. On second day the room wasnt made up and milk pods not replaced. My wife went to reception to report this and his response was they had run out and walked off. My wife called him and asked what are we meant to do about milk then and he had to go and ask. He was told to give us a glass of milk. The third day the room was made up but still no milk. We had decided to leave that day because of problems getting to Taunton due to flooding in the surrounding areas and more rain was forecast and we didnt want to be stuck in Taunton. I rang the bell at reception and a woman came out and I explained that we would not be staying for our last night. Her response was simply Why? Niceties were non existent with her too.

It was pleasant but expensive

The parking came with the booking and the location was really good.

The room was expensive because there was no breakfast included in the price, also no spare bedding just incase you got cold, especially in this weather.

Appalling, expensive - do not book here.

it was clean

No heating so room was freezing and it took 2 days to get someone to get us a portable heater as there was no intention of fixing the heating. The whole place was freezing so obviously switched off. Also there is no staff except for maybe one hour per day and you never knew when they would be there. the room had no hair dryer and no remote control and they only serviced it 2 times in five days. i left he sign on the door asking for a service and it was removed and the room not serviced.

No breakfast included!!! At no point was it made clear this was the case and at 15 per head on top of room fee is nothing short of a rip off. Will not be recommending to anyone
