    Thala had beautiful grounds, staff were great to deal with and an amazing pool. Had a great dinner at Osprey Restaurant with an incredible view.
    Cleanliness was below our expectations but still worth a stay.

    Beautiful accommodation! Eat out, or bring own food in and eat on your veranda!
    Fabulous views from our cabin. Walk to beach was lovely, and pool had a natural fresh water rainforest feel to it. Buggy staff were exceptional!
    The continental breakfast was appalling. Evening menu at restaurant did not change, signature dishes were not individually flavoured as one would expect. Male waiter came over as misogynistic. Space around the pool is limited.

    Beautiful, peaceful time spent in nature.
    I have been receiving chemo and as a result was feeling so queasy I was unable to eat in the dining room. The lovely chef and other staff members were able to provide some food to our cabin. We were able to enjoy the view from our cabin and make the most of things. Mind you the view from the restaurant was beautiful so go if you can.
    The heat got me - but it is tropical Queensland so it was supposed to be warm. I was surprised how cool the cabins were with the shutters open and the air flowing through the room.

    Relaxing at oak beach was great, buggys to get around were very convenient and efficient. Staff were excellent.
    Rooms felt abit dated. If I didnt byo drinks I would have been spewing as the bar was a long way from my room. Quite expensive night accom

    Very nice hotel and rooms.
    Lack of nature in the reserve and opportunity for guided tours whilst there. Beach facilities not up to hotel standard as was expected.

    we enjoyed the location it was beautiful, more bang for the buck would have made it perfect
    we had a lovely dinner and half a day pool side that was lovely.
    for the price of the accommodation we felt it could have been more luxurious. ie a nespresso machine to make coffee adds a touch of fancy instead of cheap coffee (that was not replaced with room service). We had breakfast that was way ove priced (granola that wasnt especially good with way too much yoghurt) We felt for the cost a continental breakfast could have been included. Also maybe offering a fresh coconut water in the husk might be nice touch (daily) and little cost to add, but makes you feel spoilt.
