    It was overall ok, but I would not stay there again
    The interior of the room was spacious, clean and the furniture in newer condition.
    It is very dark around the building at night. It needs to have better lighting outside. The walk up the hill and through the tunnel under the road is very dark and could be unsafe at night when walking alone.

    Mixed but the view was worth it
    Lovely location and the room was very luxurious. Food was very nice and the main areas were very clean and warm. Most staff members seemed welcoming
    Slightly worn looking in halls of lodge and very limited parking near the lodge especially when raining as the underpass is below the main road that sprays water over the bridge. One staff member made us feel out of place when dining in main building

    Nice place but they need to improve their chick in and provide a transportation
    We like the lake and trails close to us and of course the the whole view
    First of all no one will tell you that you need a car to get to the reception, we didnt not have a car and we had to booked a taxi several times to get to the reception or the spa. They should provide the transportation for any one staying at the beach house and the closest reception and restaurant is for another hotel but they were helpful and nice. Secondly, no one will come to at the beach house to tell how to open the door they will just send you a lot of messages thru your email and then you have to figure it out

    Lovely, quiet and comfortable place to stay right on the loch.
    The Beach House is in a beautiful and extremely quiet position on the loch facing east for the morning sun (we were very lucky with the weather). The room was very comfortable and well-equipped (room 303 facing onto the loch with a full one-way glass sliding door) and table and chairs on the terrace in front.
    Not a dislike, just a little extra advice to guests. As explained on the website there are no staff on site and the access is fully automated - absolutely crucial to complete all online formalities and download the hotel app before arriving to avoid having to go to check in at the Lodge on Loch Lomond 3 miles away, which one couple had to do at about 10pm after knocking on our window for help. The app works well once you find the knack of operating the door opening feature (need to press 'OK' after opening the outside door in order to then open the room door).

    Absolutely wonderful stay, right on the loch with wonderful views, lovely very comfortable room.
    The check in on my phone took quite a while because the app wouldnt download but it was easy once downloaded The pillows could have been more comfortable! They were quite firm.
