    The Boathouse is a lovely place
    The Boathouse is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The lounge is upstairs and the balcony overlooks the estuary. We parked in the Crabshell next door and had two meals there, not far to go home.
    It has a very modern television which was difficult to operate and the wifi packed up on the last night, still we didn't go for television.

    We had a great time alas because of the mould and smell it was away from the property.
    The view from the deck and conveniency to travel to other parts of Devon and Cornwall
    The property had mould and smelt especially downstairs. Also, the property is right next door to a pub and there was a lot of noise in the early morning and late at night when the pub staff threw away bottles and rubbish as the pubs bins are next to the bedrooms of the property.

    Very Nice property ..Some elements were a compromise...
    Location location location....
    The internet didnt wirk the whole two days we were there and although reported nothing was done..When we got there we had to unload the dish washer...The parking was a bit of a worry as it required driving through a seating area for the pub next door..The pub was noisy even on a sunday monday break.

    Simply wonderful
    The boathouse was simply fabulous. The views across estuary were beautiful. We were a family of four and found we had plenty of space for us and the kids. The kitchen had all the essential equipment and more. The property itself was positioned within close proximity of the Kingsbridge where we found ourself abandoning the car to explore the town. Kingsbridge itself has lots of shops, few pubs, restaurants and local supermarkets which are all within walking distance. We managed to catch a bus from Kingsbridge to Salcombe. The bus journey took about 20 mins. Salcombe is stunning, well worth the trip. At high tide you can catch the Ferry back to Kingsbridge. Both my wife and I loved the Boat house, we will revisit again next year, next time for longer with a paddle boards maybe.

    Negatives, not a great deal. if Im being fussy the proximity of the pub. However its no great issue. We had white noise machine for us and children and therefore slept like babies. Plus the pub shuts at 11pm. Parking the car is a little tricky due to the pub. Again no problem issues if you pick your timings correctly.

    Fabulous Stay, beautiful house and location
    Loved our stay at the Boathouse. The kitchen and living space is bright and airy, and very well equipped. The view is spectacular. It was very handy having the pub next door where we had a nice meal.
    Nothing, only wish we could have stayed longer.

    Beautiful setting, high end stay!!
    Wifii connection was a little iffy, would have been lovely to have some milk so u can enjoy a coffee, tea on arrival. The pub being next door can be a little noisy!!

    Great location with fantastic views across the estuary.
    Great location. Views were fantastic. Pub next door was lively in a nice way. Upstairs kitchen and sitting room spacious and well equipped kitchen.
    Bathrooms need updating. Not able to connect to the WiFi. Owner later informed me they are waiting for an upgrade. Balcony is not as shown in the photo. It has been replaced by wooden decking and as a result the views are best when standing.
