Will not consider or recommend the Brown Palace again.

Location

The room - sink was broken and didnt drain water, shower so small, door didnt close all the way water leaked out. On site bars had little accommodation to guests. An event was planned for NYE but our party of 4 had terrible time finding 4 seats in a room full of hundreds we were told to find somewhere else. For guests of the hotel, even though we werent attending the event, and had hours before it even started, it was disappointing for sure. We did have rooms there and we did try to enjoy the hotel but didnt feel very accommodated. I also requested 2 rooms close together over a month before check in, and upon arrival, told no rooms together we were on separate floors. I found that hard to believe that we were not informed until the moment of check in. Our friends room also had bathroom issues (shower issues specifically), With some room service, our one night stay was almost $1200 - i had higher expectations. We wont be back and will not recommend.

The location is great, The Conf Rooms were fresh and lovely, The Linens were wonderful and the bed was very good, The Breakfast as well as Catered Foods for the meetings were ALL Excellent.

It was a slightly sad thing to see the lack of maintenance IE Elevator had broken Items, There were real "Chain and bolt" on some conf room doors rather than installed locks, The Breakfast service table sat in front of our room for over 10 hours as did the Towel bin The Vanity cabinet in my room lacked paint and the cabinet door that hides the plumbing yet the magnet catches were still there. The trash can in the Bathroom was too big to fit beside the toilet.

Disappointing

Beautiful, yet over priced, old hotel with very small rooms and uncomfortable beds.

We ate breakfast one morning at the hotel restaurant and it was fabulous. The staff was exceptionally nice. It was a small issue but happened none the less - the wrong cheese was put on my Denver Omlette - the waiter said he would talk to the kitchen. The hotel main areas are beautiful and I loved the piano playing in the evening. Was nice to have an up to date fitness facility to use across the sky bridge. The location is good if you are not going to rent a car - lots of things in walking distance.

This hotel is over priced (maybe it's the location you pay for). The bed was not comfortable. The wi-fi was not free (free to bonvoy members but for what you pay it should be free anyway). The rooms are very small - we stayed in a room for 2 with a king bed - it was a small king. I will not stay here again and will not recommend - I would recommend staying somewhere else and visiting the hotel.
