Very good

Beautiful, cosy and relaxing

The living area was so cosy and relaxing with the exposed stone and huge open fireplace. One of the highlights of the trip was being able to relax in there. The cottage as a whole was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. Loved that it was surrounded by trees and thatched cottages. Wish I could've stayed longer and I hope we can go back soon!

We were told fire wood would be provided but there wasn't any so we bought some ourselves (which I didn't mind but would've been good to know in advance). In some places it felt like it could have been cleaner (e.g. there were dead woodlouse on the chair in the bedroom) but I completely understand that it's hard to keep an old property spotless so it didn't bother me but might bother some people. The ladder to the mezanine looked very unstable so I'm glad we didn't have to use it! Would've been nice to have some basics provided (e.g. salt and pepper, tea/coffee) but for the price I can't complain!

Very good

provided wood & paper to start the fireplace. spacious living room & equipped kitchen. loved that it had those skyline windows around the house. provided cool selection of books, board games and dvds to watch but we couldnt quite figure out why the tv had sound but no picture when we played the dvd but the local tv had a nice movie on that night so we were good. had hot jacuzzi in the backyard. about 20min drive to durdle door/lulworth cove. A big guide book of attractions etc was provided in the kitchen that helped us add to our bucket list.

struggled to locate it at night but thankfully had help from neighbour who pointed it out. quite dusty. a little cramped for luggage if opened in bedrooms but we managed. bathroom door had a hole or spaces in the wood that could be seen a bit from the outside but nothing too alarming

The hottub and location are fabulous

The double bed on the mezzanine. You couldn't stand up on the mezzanine and the ladders up to it are a bit precarious - alright if you're young!

Love love love this place. Near to coastal walks , quaint villages and fab pubs.

The Cartshed is a complete rustic experience. Quirky and charming. The gardens are relaxing and the hot tub a fantastic addition. Everything you need is there for your stay.

Overall a perfect stay. We did not miss a thing. Unfortunately was the weather not the best, but no criticism at the Cartshed. Definitely would go back!

absolutely loved out getaway, would defiantly return and recommend!

very surprising going inside, very spacious! lovely cottage feel inside! they have thought about absolutely everything you would need whilst being away from home down to the last details. the communication from the staff were great and local residents were lovely also! absolutely great location, very pictures and lots to do with lovely walks! bonus was the hot tub we made good use out of that! very grateful that it was pet friendly also our dogs had a great time there.

very very grateful dogs were allowed however just would have liked the garden to be slightly more secure, couldnt leave them out there unsupervised.

Superb

4 day break

Very quaint and cosy little cottage with good safe gardens for our little dog. Everything we needed for our stay including the hottub after a long day of walking! Great location for Weymouth, Portland Bill, Corfe Castle, Durdle door and Lulworth cove. Amazing views. We had a great stay.

Dirty place, shouldnt be let in this state! Owner ignores customers,disgusting!

Awful!! pillows, douvet and mattress were yellow, stained and sticky! Had to sleep in clothes and towels on pillows! Towels, old, discoloured and thin. Bulbs not working, whole place dark, dingy and dirty. TV not working, bought new batteries, still didnt work! Roof leaked, rain water on floor! Owner rude ignored our calls/texts. Additionally jewellery lost in property ! Enjoy!
