    About This Property

    The Clarendon Hotel is a family run business located opposite Deal pier making it an ideal location for seaside lovers, families and those looking for a relaxing escape from the city. Rooms are well (Read More) equipped, each with a flat-screen TV, tea/coffee-making facilities, a work area and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Some guest rooms have views of the coastline and the shores of France on a clear day. There is free Wi-Fi access in the hotel’s public areas. Guests are just a 5-minute walk from central Deal’s rail station and a range of shops, bars and restaurants. Deal pier is moments away on foot. 2 golf courses are within 15 minutes’ drive. We have both sea view and non sea view rooms and suites available to book. All rooms are well equipped with flat-screen TV's, tea/coffee making facilities, desks, fridges and a private en-suite bathroom facility. All rooms also have a travel iron/ironing board and a hair dryer provided. We do not offer breakfast, but provide complimentary items for the duration of your stay and all staff are more than happy to provide recommendations of local establishments that offer great food to suite all diet types and lifestyle choices. We are located within 15 minutes' drive from two prestigious golf courses and have a good network of public transport with bus stops and Deal train-station located within a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Please note that we do not provide hotel parking but are happy to offer suggestions for paid and un-paid parking nearby the property.

    Located opposite the pier on the seafront. Plenty of restaurants and pubs and shopping within walking distance. Paid parking at rear of property handy but expensive if staying for more than one night. Helpful friendly receptionist. Nice to have bottled water left in fridge.
    Room was very tidy and clean but crack in bathroom sink may get worse over time. Beds a bit uncomfortable for us.

    Deal was great, hotel was passable but room was very disappointing.
    The location was perfect!
    Our room was very disappointing especially since we booked back in March. Our friends booked after us and paid the same price for their room which was amazing. Our room was very small, the two of us had trouble moving around the room at the same time which made it uncomfortable when trying to get ready for our NYE out. Our room was nothing like any of the photos on the website. We would come back to Deal but probably not to the Clarendon

    Lovely hotel exceptionally clean great size room very comfortable bed nice sea view . Room cosy and warm and radiators easy to operlate for temperature to suit . Loved having a fridge in room , very useful along with tea coffee sugar milk and bottled water . Staff helpful and friendly. Location excellent for beach shops restaurants with Some great walks along the prom just outside the hotel .

    Bit dusty in places Thin towels Lighting a bit dim- this was a nice vibe, but tricky when trying to get ready and do hair and make up.

    Terrific
    We have stayed here before .We loved it the first time ,and it didn't disappoint the second . A very comfortable bed ,and spotlessly clean .The facilities were excellent ,and included a much appreciated iron, ironing board and hair dryer .The location is excellent within close walking distance to the main shopping area and very close to the beach. We stayed in the Smugglers Suite and loved having our own entrance without having to go through the hotel.
    The bed was a standard double .Difficult to enlarge in the space ,but would generally prefer a bigger bed

    Beautiful suite with lounge, bedroom and bathroom plus the entry door direct off street. Everything was spotless and well thought out , felt like a home from home. The lady said n charge was so friendly and helpful too .
    Difficult to find a fault but if I have to the road noise in the morning about 8am when everyone is going to work etc. otherwise pretty faultless tbh

    No bar no mini bar no condiments shower gel soaps etc only hand pump rubbish not enough towels and the bath and shower was hard work
