Very good

The location was very close to the bus stop and the taxi stands. Despite being in the middle of the city it is very quiet and peaceful inside the rooms. The receptionist was very informative and knew about scenic locations normally not mentioned on the internet. Some of the rooms had an attached kitchen which helped us save money.

This is just about the location. Most of the restaurants around the hotel serve thakala food, regional nepalese cuisine. This might be a great thing or not based on what a person prefers. Personally, we liked the cuisine.

Good location and great staff

Good location in a safe, quiet local neighborhood, a 15-minute walk to the lake road with some restaurants on the way. Lok and the entire staff were super friendly and helpful, even waiting at the airport to greet me when my flight was 2 hours late! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I especially loved drinking my morning tea on the balcony and watching the activity in the neighborhood. A big bonus is that The Country Yard has a battery backup system which keeps some of your lights on when the electricity goes out (a daily ocurrance in Pokhara). They also offer a reasonably-priced laundry service which was convenient.

A rarely got hot water in my afternoon and evening showers, but I suspect it's better in the mornings. Also the wifi wasn't very reliable but maybe it was just a temporary or neighborhood thing, and hopefully it's better by the time you read this.

it was the best experience to live in the hotel the room and the view+facilities were good as mentioned but one thing that make us uncomfortable was hygiene,the pillows were little dirty with dents otherwise the hotel was good, also i am going soon in the same hotel ,hope the take care of hygiene little more

Good to stay without any outside disturbances.

Clean room and well located. The owner is a gem of a person and very helpful.

Room should be equipped with a cupboard which was missing.
