    Worst place I have ever stayed in

    Ordered a twin room and got a double bed. The room was somebodys bedroom as it was full of personal possessions and clothes. It was above the bar which had a private party and music was played at top volume until 2 in the morning with guests shouting at the top of their voices. My daughter and I had hardly any sleep.

    Decent room in the middle of the town. Can be noisy.
    Good shower and facilities, like fridge. There was sky TV in the room which was nice.
    The rooms are behind the pub so if you want to sleep try not to stay on a Saturday night. Very loud, late into the night.

    Had all the amenities. Local to shops
    Rooms seemed more for people wanting to stay after a heavy night on the beer, or workers away from home. Had people's washing hanging everywhere when we arrived, room had all facilities but was in need of updating. I won't go into the drunks, noise and arguments outside the room.

    Beds comfortable, shower good
    Noise ! Very noisy at nighttime, especially if you are in the room opposite the smoking area, went on until 2am. After letting the staff know the situation (and a call to the hotel at 1245am to ask when it was going to quieten down). For night 2 I was begrudgingly offered to move rooms, the room was still noisy but not as bad as night 1.

    Good location, as advertised. Shame about the noise late at night
    Great location in the centre of town
    Given twin beds despite booking a double. Noise from the pub's customers right outside our bedroom continued until 00.30 at which point I called to ask for them to shut up. They were better after that but by no means silent. The whole family slept very badly.

    Geographically convenient for touring Jurrasic Coast.
    No breakfast available. Used pub (Wetherspoons) across the road. No food available at all in The Dolphin Hotel and choice in the vicinity was limited, or had to use Wetherspoons opposite.
    Would be better if food were available in the Dolphin Hotel.

    It was just okay
    It was convenient for where we wanted to be on the Saturday evening
    We booked a deluxe double room but it was far from that. We were given the wrong room first with two single beds and then had to move when we complained. The double room was simply two single beds pushed together which is not what we would expect from a room only costing 80, the en suite was so small, only one of us could get in there at any one time and the water was just about warm.

    2nd year in a row that I have stayed in the same room at The Dolphin and Ill definitely be back!
    Clean, comfortable room with great facilities (fridge, kettle, microwave, Sky TV, iron & board) and lots of nice little extras (plenty of tea, coffee & biscuits, bottles of water and a carton of milk in the fridge, ice pops in the ice box)
