Located on the shores of Lake Mendota in Madison, this hotel offers a spa and wellness center along with 3 on-site restaurants. University of Wisconsin-Madison is 850 metres away. Select rooms have a sofa, spa bath, and kitchenette. At the Madison Edgewater you will find a fitness centre and meeting facilities. The on-site plaza includes a seasonal ice skating rink and lush gardens. The fine dining Statehouse offers regionally sourced cuisine with an extensive wine list. The casual dining Icehouse and Boathouse offer pub fare, a great local brew selection, and views of Lake Mendota. The Madison Area Technical College and Overture Center For the Arts are both 500 metres from the hotel. Camp Randall Stadium is 7 minutes’ drive away. Registered guests are responsible for the full repair and replacement costs of damages to the property of the hotel, and for extraordinary cleaning costs if required. This is above and beyond any other fees, including pet fees. Smoking is not permitted in rooms or public areas and will result $300 fine. Registered guests or their visitors who exhibit disruptive behaviors may be ejected from the hotel without refund. The hotel may also fine guests in the amount of compensation given to other third parties resulting from those disruptive behaviors. All guests in rooms shall be registered with the hotel. Occupancy shall not exceed fire code. Persons violating will be subject to ejection without a refund.

Everything was amazing. Very accessible for a wheelchair user. Friendly, kind staff. BEAUTIFUL view. Best bathtub I've ever seen in a hotel. Definitely will be returning!

A fun and relaxing girls weekend! Definitely reccomended The Edgewater!

The entire staff was friendly and helpful - valet, front desk, housekeeping, and bar tenders! The beds were very comfortable. The Spa was a great experience. The service technicians were all very professional and provided quality care. The spa staff was very attentive and helpful.

We love staying at the Edgewater, if we can afford it, it is top notch.

The resort facilities onsite make it easy to relax and the bathrooms are nice - not cramped like many places.

I miss the earlier breakfast dining option. Last time I had a salmon eggs benedict that I still talk about. I get up earlier than my family so I usually eat alone - room service is great, but just not an option at that time.

We love the Edgewater and it is the place of preference for any stay in Madison for us.

Its situated in a beautiful location, and the facilities are amazing if the layout is a little tough to navigate. But worth it, because the rooms are impeccable.

Likely due to large bookings, it seemed much more expensive than the last time we were there. Also, while room service has an amazing breakfast, there arent dining options to sit before 11, like there used to be.

Truly the best hotel in Madison!

The hotel was beautiful and the location could not be better. You can walk to UW and the Capital. Every restaurant at the hotel was great (we tried them all). The spa was also wonderful. I had an amazing massage.
