Lovely Cotswold stone pub/hotel with cosy and very comfortable bedroom. Picture book style.

The room was very good, cosy, clean, really well equipped with facilities for tea making, bathroom, at or above our expectations. The easy chair was nice and gav3 the room a feeling of greater space & luxury

We had planned to dine in the restaurant but staff shortages had forced it to close at that time, which was a pity and we didnt know until arrival. Perhaps that should have been mentioned? We had to drive out to eat, as the hotel is quite far to walk to any eatery. There were slight defects in the room: the shower switch from its two sprays needs attention; the radiator control is loose and barely works; one window does not open and the other opens only a little but then drops shut! We had to wedge it open for ventilation. It was very hot at night even with the radiator off.
