Very friendly staff. Great place to stay especially if you are in area for pork-pie experience!

Staff were very friendly & couldn't fault them. Room was fine for what we wanted - basic overnight stay before attending a pork-pie making experience locally, bed comfy, bathroom / shower was great - surprisingly quiet considering the room we had was above the pub area, but very hot - uncomfortably so. There was a fan on the wall but it was too noisy to sleep with. The restaurant was fantastic and the food lovely and very reasonably priced. The bar was great - good range of drinks and great cocktails! Located right near the centre of the town and had private parking.

Heat in the room but then we are used to having a cool bedroom at home so for many the very warm room may be just fine. Would really have appreciated a couple of bottles of water in the room as well as tea and coffee but thats a minor thing I guess. Overall very little to NOT like. We would come back and book again for sure.

Booking breakfast for a certain time and no sign of kitchen staff 1 and a half hours later. I had to leave for airport without the full English breakfast, had to get something to eat at airport.

Hotel very tired. Staff and food wonderful

Food and staff excellent couldn't fault.

I requested a ground floor room and disabled room as my husband struggles with stairs. The room was 1st floor lots of stairs. No hand rail or anti slip mat. Water was not very hot, shower dismal temp kept fluctuating. Room was very dimly lit only two sockets. Bed very uncomfortable this hotel is very tired and certainly due a refurb, need to cater for disabled guests.
