    Great location, wonderful view of the valley and hills, and facilities were super. Very friendly staff and service was excellent. Dinner was very good and breakfast superb.. We will be staying here again for our stay enroute.

    Gorgeous location and charming Manor House.
    The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Its so wonderful having a hotel thats also so dog friendly. Great location, stunning views and beautifully decorated for Christmas , making it feel really special.

    Perfect base for walking etc, and a comfortable stay in room full of character.
    Old style Manor House and with additional more modern rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good breakfast. Well located a little out of town. Short drive or slightly longer walk to town centre.
    A tad cool in the room (late December) despite radiator being very hot. Probably more of an issue with the bigger, older rooms. Baton of wood between the top of the radiator and the wall didnt help. Overall did not detract from the quality of room or stay.

    A bit disappointing. Maybe ask if your room has a view of the landscape or a wall before you book.
    Lovely Christmas decorations throughout the hotel
    Given the location of the hotel, on the hillside overlooking Crickhowell, I was expecting a nice view. However, our room just had one small window that faced into a wall and another window. We also requested a double bed but it turned out to be two rather saggy singles pushed together with a marked ridge in between. The hot water pressure was too low for a decent shower. The hotel was not very busy, so I have no idea what we did to deserve such a poor room. Other reviews suggest that there are much nicer rooms.
