Poor

Noisy and exhausting

Food was good, restaurant staff very good and the place was nicely decorated.

The room we stayed in (5) was directly above a small function room where the hotel put a 30th birthday party and it was very clear there wasnt any sound proofing. Major lack of sleep. Also felt at 250 it was very expensive, particularly when breakfast was extra.

Simple but lovely

I liked that there was complimentary towels in the bathroom and air con in thr room and it was clean and tidy.

It was our wedding night we got there and the night porter forstly couldnt find our key (had been given to wrong guest), took us to get another key couldnt find that either left us waiting on our own for ages. Luckily upgraded by manager but as we Werent expected to be in that room there was no water. Sign about complimentary cookies none there. And beautiful view ruined by the building works directly outside our room. Not worth the money in my opinion. Shame as it was our wedding night very disappointed in lack of care and attention.

Our anniversary night.

The place was very clean and obviously had a lot of work done, be good whdn it is finished.

250 room only, room 9 was very clean but small and very hot, the fan was noisy so couldn't use it at night, road noise was also an issue. There was only a small window at floor level so absolutely no view. We didn't stay to ear at the hotel as no suitable time available so went into Hadleigh for a meal.

Bed was extra large and extra comfy

No light in room one 3 foot high window at ground level, so in dark or lights on, only 6 inch moveable mirror in bathroom.

Very good

Well equipped luxurious rooms and the restaurant and surroundings were well spaced out inside and had an outdoor terraced to sit out as well

There is building works going on at the moment it didnt affect us too much as we stayed on a weekend when there is no work going on. But the car park is the other side of the building works which can be a problem with people with mobility issues.
