great place to stay close to the port: comfy, welcoming and really nice food
Location was great, just 20 minutes from the port and easy to park. Welcome was good and they prepared our food as we were arriving a little after the kitchen closed. Room was lovely and quiet with great decor. Breakfast also very nice. Dinner was more expensive than I had expected at 70 pounds for two main courses, two drinks and a bottle of water if i remember correctly. Food was however, delicious
All good, very happy to stay again

    A Genuinely Great overnight stay
Beautiful Old Inn and Hotel Perfectly positioned for Dover or the Eurotunnel with plenty of parking ,excellent food and really good staff The early start was helped by a wonderful night porter called Philllipe and an amazing packed breakfast
Nothing well done everyone!! A little more choice of bar snacks would help but that's about all

Okay stay if you come from Dover and dont need to go anywhere else
Very cozy pub and room. The room (with copper bath) was brilliant. It was clean and we were able to park the car.
Very very hot inside (winter time). And overall everything was overpriced. We expected more for the money that we spend. Dinner was okay but not as well and variable as advertised. If you want to go for a walk, there is really no place to go. Also, later, after booking the price dropped 75%. A shame.
