Cosy and comfortable

Good breakfast - served up promptly and on a warm plate!

I was disturbed by the yapping of a dog in the room above. Owners had evidently left it unattended while they went for a meal. This hotel welcomes dogs so I do not blame the hotel - just the owners for being inconsiderate! Can I suggest that the tables in the dining room are reconfigured when a large party is booked in for dinner. I was dining alone but my table was so close to a party of 15 that they had to push past me to get seated and the waitress had to push past me to serve them. I was most uncomfortable and did not stay for dessert!

Nice hotel but not worth what we paid unfortunately.

Beautiful building, nice furnishings although bathroom felt a bit drab. We thought itd be a memorable place to stay but it was quite a normal hotel.

We arrived at nearly midnight, it was -5 outside and we were freezing, walked into our room and both windows were open, we were so gutted! There was no bottled water and two squished Tunnocks teacakes. Not great when youve paid over 150 for the night, Premier Inn has been better. Cooked breakfast was great, no complaints there.

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel. The room was pretty and comfy, the bathroom had a nice bath and lovely soap/shampoo. The bar was very cosy, they had a fireplace. Breakfast was very nice and all the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Thoroughly recommend for a short stay and dinner. Breakfast was also very good.

A lovely hotel with very polite and friendly staff, particularly the Polish receptionist. She was absolutely wonderful in helping me arrange transport to the airport after a difficult day attending the funeral of my former primary school teacher. The chef is amazing, the food was simply amazing
