Superb

Rome is a vibrant city and well worth visiting for its renaissance art and roman ruins.

At the hotel, we enjoyed the full breakfast. The location was practical for dining out. Rome is a large city so we used taxi often as we are in our 70's and try to avoid subways. Visit of the Colosseo and Vatican with their many steps proved to be well worse the fatigue. We particularly enjoyed walking up to the Villa Borghese, then back down toward the Piazza di Spagna. The view from the top of the steps is breathtaking! Plan to arrive there at sunset.

Is it really needed to pay so much money just for the location?

The location of the hotel is perfect, very central close to many shops and restaurants and also the view from the window was what I was expecting to get. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.Good wifi and very friendly and helpful staff. Easy to find parking for your motorcycle outside the hotel and general in Rome.

The most poor breakfast I have ever eaten in my life, very small breakfast area and variety, nothing to eat and not fresh. The rooms were separately from the reception and the breakfast area and the elevator was too small and old. The room isolation was terrible, I could hear everyone passing by and also the next rooms noises (someone was coughing and snoring) The AC wasn't working properly, was too warm or too cold in the room. Also I did not like that from a hotel 4 starts so expensive its not acceptable to charge you for a bottle of a water 1 euro.
