Pleasant stay with my partner, really enjoyed ourselves

The location, facilities inside and bed was comfy

No lock on bathroom door, I just like one. No welcome note or anyone about to check you in. Sink in kitchen wasnt clean and neither were the mugs or cafetire provided. Fridge was clean, hob was clean, bedding clean etc.

No storage space, but we only stayed a few days, so we were OK. Only one comfy chair, so we took our own fold-up chair, which was fine. Would we stay there again - yes, most definitely!,

We were visiting Whitby, from Leeds, so the Parcel Shed being pretty much in between them made for a great location. There's a pub just down the street, not even 5 minutes walk who serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The view is stunning - we unfortunately picked a very wet weekend to be staying, however the view wasn't hindered by this. The owners left a pack of biscuits for us and supplied tea, coffee and milk which was greatly appreciated. Everything was spotless, bins had been emptied and we had clean towels left out for us.

The lack of storage was the main issue. We only stayed two nights but any longer, I'm not sure how we would have coped without anywhere to hang our clothes. And the same for wet towels. The metal bed was super squeaky, again not too much of a problem for a couple of nights but any longer it would have become a pain. The shower wasn't particularly good - it didn't have much pressure and it leaked.

The Parcel Shed was impeccably clean and tidy. A small, cozy location with beautiful surroundings and very quiet. The host was incredibly helpful with queries before my stay and during. Supplies were available in the kitchen area such as utensils and pans. A perfect location for nearby attractions such as Flamingo Land, Sutton Bank & Helmsley.
