Had a disappointing experience at Raviz Kadavu Resort. The staff insisted on a mandatory 31st December Gala dinner, costing 5000 Rs per head, which was not communicated clearly during booking. Front desk manager handled the conflict poorly, giving me no choice but to pay or leave, with no mention of this condition in the booking policy. It took 45 minutes of argument to finally check in. This incident tarnished my New Year celebration and questioned the hotel's 5-star standards.

Exceptional place

Very well maintained...value for money. Decorations were too good. The whole place looks magical in Christmas. Nice welcoming staff.

The store in the lobby sells heritage items from India and Kashmir. It is very wonderful, its goods

The room was spacious and its furniture was similar to the hotel's furniture and style, with a historical character from the Kerala region

The air conditioning in the rooms needs to be cooler The room was very large. I wonder why it was not allowed to add a bed for a third person

This has all the amenities needed for a heritage resort.

Bit difficult to reach due to road congestion. This might be temporary. Staff took my driving license as identification but while checking into another property I found it missing from my purse . Very likely its still somewhere in Raviz but unfortunately havent got a satisfactory response from them
