Very enjoyable and would visit again

The property was excellent along with the location. The hosts were great. Very approachable and we were made to feel very welcome. It was so good to be offered tea when we arrived, greatly appreciated after a long journey.

Breakfast was not provided but you could use the fridge and tea making facilities in the lounge. Location was excellent with the town and sea front within a few minutes walk.

Great value for money and superb hosts.

The location was perfect to explore the area and the host, Andrea, couldn't do enough for you with plenty of recommendations and kind check-ins. The lounge area was very comfortable with plenty of amenities for your needs. The room was clean and comfortable (a free upgrade too) with nice facilities. Couldn't ask for more from a guesthouse!

Absolutely fantastic

Our host Andrea was fantastic. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through the front door. As a vegan I am used to having to ask for non dairy milk to use with the tea/coffee in the room and I'm usually told that they don't have any but Andrea had already put some in the room and brought me more when I told her I was vegan. She even recommended restaurants in the area which offered vegan options too. The room was gorgeous, so comfortable and immaculate and felt like a 5 star luxury hotel. The entire property was spotless and smelled absolutely amazing! We cannot recommend The Rosedene enough. We will definitely be going back.

Very enjoyable short break. We will definitely be back.

Last minute booking for a few days away. Excellent location - within easy walking distance of pubs , restaurants and sea front. Andrea and Mark welcomed us and were very friendly. Bed was small but very comfortable. Breakfast was not offered - but there were plenty of nice places to have breakfast within 5 minutes walk. Tea/coffee and water and a selection of biscuits in the room was very welcome.

Room was small. As we didnt spend much time in the room, apart from sleeping, it was adequate.

Great hosts, lovely location, room was very clean and decorated well.

Andrea was lovely, very friendly and welcoming! The room was decorated to a very high standard with a good size tv and on-suite. Bed was very comfy!

A better view from the window would have been nice but this did not impact the quality of our stay at all!

So welcoming and lovely

Mark and Andrea were so lovely, we came for our anniversary and they were so welcoming and it was more like a family home than a hotel. Everything was so clean and the bed so comfy, loved the complementary biscuits and tassimo in the room. So close to local restaurants and pubs too! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We will be back! :-)
