    There's not one thing that I can criticise. The best place to be and value for money. Would recommend it to anybody and would go there anytime

    A luxurious stay, let down by poor access
    The accomodation and staff are absolutely amazing. The grounds are lovely and the accomodation units (we understand they're all very similar) are spacious and luxurious
    The access to the property is terrible. It sits in some private grounds with two security entrance gates, where a code is required. Our GPS often sent us to the wrong entrance, resulting in a 10 mile detour. Why isn't there the same code for each entrance?

    Attention to detail and intimate setting with such interesting history. Excellent service.
    Johannes looked after us so well and the service from him and chef Rudy was excellent. Cheese selection at breakfast was awesome.

    Elegant comfort captured in a time capsule from the past
    The Royal Fischer is an exquisite boutique hotel situated in a nature reserve within a security estate. Somehow the owners have managed to take a piece of history and converted it into a beautiful, elegantly designed hotel. There is not a thing we would change and we have visited this hotel many times. Comfy beds, great farm breakfast, beautiful views across the landscape and if you are lucky the call of a Fish eagle whilst sipping your Port on the stop.

    Loved the room and views plus the great service from Johannes
    Breakfast was fair. Location a bit out of the way.
    The evening meal was a rip-off to be honest and not worth the R 500 per person
