The check in process is very easy. Room is clean, all amenities are complete as described. With good quality amenities. The building itself is beautiful, modern, and historic. Parking is easily available, near and included with the room rate which is why we chose this place for.
Nice job. Will recommend this to anyone new to Nashville.

A unique stay in Music City
We decided to stay at The Russell after leaving a nightmare Airbnb stay. What a great choice that was! As soon as we pulled up to The Russell, we were awed by its former church structure, and the sorbet-tinged country vibe of its interior design. We also loved that our stay contributed to meals and accommodation to Nashvilles houseless population. In short here is what we loved about The Russell:

Stop searching and just stay here. Its fantastic.
Gorgeous place. Super clean, quiet, and just really neat and really well decorated, furniture, etc. Self-use coffee in lobby is great. Lovely neighborhood - we walked to all food, drink, coffee. Quiet and pleasantly area of town. 100% recommend and would stay again.

Loved the location and the repurposed church as a hotel while keeping the architectural elements.
This is probably my bad.. we were in room 3:3 which had a skylight to the lobby. I didnt know you could close a curtain over the skylight; so the first night was a bit rough with the lobby lighting coming in overhead. In hindsight, I should have texted the hotel staff during the night (they are available 24/7), and they would have solved my problem right away.

Happy to give back to the community, but wouldnt stay again.
Good locations and gorgeous building
Also a fantastic scheme to give back to the homeless of Nashville.
The room was exceptionally dark, even during the day. Our steamer didnt work and I had to contact the manager to get a replacement. He gave me the code to the store cupboard, but there wasnt another. I did get an iron, but the board sat on the floor making in difficult to use. Our room was on the top floor and there is no lift, so important to consider if stairs are an issue.
