    The atmosphere was a throwback to the 1920's. The woodwork is absolutely epic. The staff was friendly all the way around. The man on the 4th floor repainting the trim was friendly as he warned us of the areas with wet paint. The room was more than we expected. Spacious and modern.
    On an evening, such as New Years Eve, we were expecting not to wait in a long line at the bar with only one bartender. Also, as nice as the rooms were visually, the beds were not the best at all. The mattresses were way on the low end. Floppy, springy and just too soft with NO support.

    Was mostly a disappointment
    The room was a cabana room, very disappointing. The outside deck did not look like the photos, the furniture was soaking wet and unusable, the pull out couch had metal springs in the mattress was so uncomfortable no one could use it my mother and I had to share a bedthe heat was broken in the room and they couldnt fix it so they brought a small metal space heater that we turned off at night so the room didnt burn down we went to eat there and the bartender , a larger woman couldnt have been more unpleasant to my mother as we ordered drinks and wanted to order food. She would keep her back to my mother as we ordered and clearly not a happy bartender over all I spent around $460 for our room there and it was a terrible experience and bad value.

    Our Third Stay This Year
    Staff is so courteous, friendly, and welcoming! The bellman greet you right away and helpful. They brought over a luggage rack and unloaded our luggage and placed it on the cart. Dylan is so cheerful and welcoming. He also remembered us from the prior visits! The Hotel is spacious and has a tremendous atmosphere about it. The rooms are always so clean and the view on our balcony was beautiful. Our waitress McKayla was really attentive and friendly. We will go back again and highly recommend this hotel
    One issue we did have was on Friday night they had a big event and attendees were arriving as we were leaving to go to an appointment we had, meeting others at a restaurant. The valet parking was set up for two rows of cars at the event to move cars arriving for the event. They did get us our car but pulled in behind the line of cars waiting to be parked and we had to wait quite awhile to get out of the driveway. Finally one of the valets stopped cars from pulling up in one of the lines to let us out. It was quite frustrating. We ended up being late for our dinner appointment. Maybe they need to come up with a different parking scheme for those that are guests and are leaving the hotel during the event.

    I stay here every year for the turkey run a lot of us do they are really easy going they have everything I want to give
    I love everything about the property it has everything you need right on the premises food snacks drinks gift shop bike rentals chairs a spa pool beach access tiki bar stuff for the kids it has it all!
    There really is nothing negative to say about my stay it even got a little chilly and they made sure we had heat to stay warm after being out at the race track all day

    The room and public areas were clean. The front desk staff were very nice. And the valets were very good
    Not properly staffed at all. The bartender was very overwhelmed. Waited over 30 minutes in line just to get into breakfast. Waited another 15 minutes to be acknowledged once seated. Finally walked out. Bed was made with only 5 flay sheets. No fitted sheets or comforter on second night. Very strange

    The Shores Resort was right on the beach wall. The room was spacious. Someone is always at the desk.
    They were able to check us in right away, which was nice. The double room had lots of space, huge closet, wonderful desk for work and makeup and an extra chair besides the outdoor space. Due to weather, we weren't able to use the outside space or use the fire bowls. The Spa there is amazing! The massages and facials, scrubs were great. I would just say they need a hot tub for multiple people to use after services.
    They have no room service and no one would answer phone at the restaurant. We had to go order in person and pick up in person. The small fridge had no freezer space and the ice machines are every other floor but none on the main floor where we were. High $40 to valet your car. The area is run down, so you worry about safety parking car, getting gas, etc. The Shores is high up on a sea wall, so you must go down to beach and sometimes water is right up to the wall. The one day it wasn't raining and we could use our lanai, the furniture was filthy from the storms.

    Post COVID this place was nice. Super expensive to say the least. No perks or promos or loyalty programs. High resort fees, lot of broken items in room.
