    Great location within minutes walk of centre of St Andrews. Very quiet with view out over front garden to the Kinness Burn. Large room and use of a beautiful sitting room. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and snacks in the sitting room, including home made cakes and shortbread. Very relaxing and comfortable.

    The location was convenient to walking to city center and main sites. John was lovely to talk to and gave us great recommendations on local sites to visit. Every possible amenity was provided for in our room, very thoughtful. We did not see such thoughtfulness at any other place we stayed at. The lounge was extremely comfortable to hang out it in.
    The house was a bit difficult to find initially.

    We felt cramped in the room. When suitcases are opened, there is not much room to move around the room easily.

    The Spindle House was totally charming and was walkable to anywhere you may want to go.
    The location was perfect. Could easily walk to restaurants, historical locations, etc. You were able to have breakfast there (cereal, etc.), but we decided to go out. We really enjoyed The Black Sheep for breakfast. John also recommended wonderful restaurants.
