    So good we didnt want to leave!
    Wonderful location, friendly and welcoming checkin, super clean room, attentive staff at all times throughout our stay, breakfast was delicious and table service from Wendy was excellent who was extremely helpful, friendly and fantastic at her job. Wonderful stay and we were so glad we stayed for 3 nights!

    Great base for exploring
    Loved the town and it's shops and restaurants, and it's ideally placed to visit other parts of the New Forest. Breakfast was great and every member of staff friendly and helpful.
    Nothing really, the room was different to the one pictured but that wasn't a problem.

    Delightful, made extra special by the lovely staff
    Room was lovely. The first one we were given was very spacious, but the bathroom extract fan was broken and therefore the bathroom smelled of drains. We mentioned this to the staff and they swiftly moved us to an equally lovely room. We could not fault their response. In fact, the staff were fantastic in every way, truly delightful.
    When we arrived, the car park was rammed with the vans of workers renovating the building next door.

    Had a 1 night stay as was going to an event at Foxlease the next day, very convenient great value.
    The room was booked at the last minute and was one of the Stags smaller rooms. This made no difference to the comfort and facilities and was more than adequate for our one night stay. Have got to say the staff were excellent, from booking in to breakfast and booking out. Would not hesitate to book again. A lovely local pub. Breakfast was also excellent and a decent cup of tea! Private parking to the rear of the building. Very well lit to the pub.
    Couldnt stay longer! Only briefly saw Georgie and Doris!
