Highly recommended, just dont occupy room 11.

Lovely, helpful, friendly staff Beautiful location Nice wine, including the house Red and White Good pub food

Only issue was the room we stayed in - Room 11 - was above the plant room, which meant white noise all night that even 32dB ear plugs couldnt mitigate. Room itself was lovely. Noise unacceptable and really impacted on our stay :)

Very welcoming - a lovely family run pub, excellent dinner and breakfast - soft sheets on the bed and very spacious rooms

Fantastic staff and a stunning location

The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs and wishes. We had come from a really exhausting trip and they made us breakfast which we could take up to our rooms and have in bed just as we needed. They provided everything we needed with a lovely positive and bubbly attitude. Could not have asked for more. It was the totally the staff that made it for us, let alone the stunning location

The only thing I would say is that it was further out than I had expected and if you don't have a car and cannot get a taxi, walking can be a long haul. Walking is possible and there is a STUNNING public footpath all the way in to Totnes which is where we were going, but every day, twice a day if you're not used to it can be tough but SUPER rewarding :-)

Relaxed inn by the river

The location by the river is great. The room was spacious and nicely styled. We liked the big outside terrace where we enjoyed a round of ping-pong. Good food in the bustling pub / restaurant (can recommend the fish and chips).
