    We booked Thon Polar but were switched to Thon - this review relates to Thon, not Thon Polar
    Location is great, city center a few minutes away. Breakfast was great, a lot of choices.
    Room cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. We booked Thon Polar but just before the trip we were switched to hotel Thon.

    Super clean, central hotel with excellent breakfast.. as long as you are not here at a weekend
    Very central location, clean rooms fresh towels daily. Great breakfast. Helpful staff.
    Breakfast began far too late for our weekend stay. Most tourist activities have early start times, so breakfast at 8 a.m was a huge rush and out of our three nights booked with breakfast included, we only got to enjoy one! So not great value for us and I probably sadly would not have booked this hotel had I known. Many guests spoke of this late breakfast too. Kindly the hotel will prepare a breakfast to go, sandwich, piece of fruit and a cold drink, but that is nothing like enjoying a good breakfast. Also a member of staff the first morning told my son off for making one sandwich to take with him? Quite unfair I thought when we had just a 15 minute window to eat the breakfast we had paid for, in order to make our way to the pick up point for our activity the first day. We were not carrying out baskets of food, just one sandwich!

    Lack of evening meal facilities although lovely restaurant next door meant this was not a massive issue

    Breakfast was amazing Bed very comfortable Fantastic location Heated bathroom floor Lots of hangers
    Room dirty (lots of hair in bathroom on mat and crumbs on floor) And floor never cleaned during stay Dirty coffee cups not removed Couldnt change heating in room

    Great and affordable hotel in Tromso center
    This is a great hotel option in Tromso. Everything is very close in the downtown, and this is right in the heart. Rooms are modern, and the breakfast was fantastic. There is a great Texas shuffle board table in the lounge with free coffee and sparkling water. We took the airport express bus, and the stop is 200 m away.
    Probably the right price for Tromso, but it's still a bit pricey.
