The place itself was lovely. The staff were helpful and accomodating. Unfortunately we didnt get to explore the immediate area, maybe next time

Lovely cozy country hotel. Staff were welcoming. Very comfy bed. Would definitely stay again.

Floors were uneven, which couldn't really be avoided due to the property age and character, but this was a challenge for my husband, who's had ankle surgery. The only issue we had was with the bathroom tiles, which were very slippery. They were especially slippery when wet after using the shower. Due to the uneven floors, there was a sloped ramp going into the bathroom. This slope, coupled with the slippery tiles, made it quite dangerous. We had to leave our towels on the floor to use as grip. A tile with more grip/ texture would've been a better selection to use on the floor.
