Staff was very friendly and helpful

Rooms were very dusty and most of the surfaces stiki. (Toilets and shower were clean). Duvet should have upper linen also.

Friendly and helpful staff and great to have a dip in the pool.

Shared bathroom that wasnt clear on the booking. Facilities were fine but didnt expect the sharing aspect.

Perfect for a weekend getaway with sea and mountain views

Really nice hotel in the Governors Bay area, given the star rating it has, it is quite a good place and worth staying and relaxing for a weekend. The rooms are nice and clean and you can select a room with either sea or mountain view. The prices are really good and affordable but unfortunately location wise, you cant take transport there, you need to drive or take Uber. The hotel restaurant serves delicious breakfast and main meals and also has a wide variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The restaurant prices are also moderate and affordable. I would recommend a visit to this interesting hotel, one of very few in the area but really well maintained.

Nice gem in Governors Bay!

Nice little hotel in Governors Bay. We looked for sth outside of ChCh and we were surprised to find this gem. Rooms are lights and functional and not to spacious. Bathroom sink on the room. Blinds for the windows available. Great pub underneath so not much walking and there is not much around the place anyway.

Hotel is wooden so you hear some stuff happening around the house. However the Pub closes at 10 so it is quiet at night. Shared Bathrooms are on the hallway always take your key.
