    For us this was a short break and the hotel served its purpose well.
    Great location, great staff, cosy atmosphere
    Parking at busy time could be an issue. Some reviews we read described the hotel as a little tired which I understand but the room was warm and cosy. Not the cleanest place I have stayed but not what I would describe as dirty.

    Okay stay but the room was not to the standard we expected.
    The location is excellent, the food was lovely and we enjoyed an evening in the cosy bar.
    We felt that the family room was very tired looking and not as clean as we would have liked. The bathroom door and the bed sides were grubby, paint was peeling and hanging off the wall, the top of the furniture was bubbled and the bathroom units were black and damaged. We only had 1 child with us and he's a well behaved 11 year old who is used to staying in hotels. It's a bit frustrating when a hotel gives you a room that is not to the standard of other rooms just because you are a family. We were also disappointed that there were only single beds in the room.

    Very hospitable, lively and friendly atmosphere.
    Very hospitable and welcoming. Excellent bar with great range of beverage. Basic room but everything you need inc Kettle and Hairdryer. Comfy bed and good shower.
    Nothing to add. All good. Highly recommended.
