    Beds where nice Breakfast was nice
    Terrible attention to detail on requests made, poorly managed. Swimming pool and spa are not included in the room price... Bathtub had a small spider in it, shows lack of cleaning, balcony had old dry bird poop in the floor. Lots of over charges at the end. Terrible price quality Would be a nice 3 star hotel with half the room price. Disappointed

    Nice hotel but watch out for additional costs.
    Very smart hotel with pleasant room, good facilities and good restaurant.
    Was October and cool wet weather so we chose this hotel as it had an indoor pool. Was an extra 25 per person for 1.5 hours but didn't open until 1.30pm. Also compulsory to buy a swimming cap which half the guests then didn't wear. Scam. Spa receptionist not pleasant either. Restaurant food was very good but small portions and overpriced. Location is a bit dull, 15 min drive in to Matera but hourly bus is only 1.50, last bus back is 10pm which doesn't suit the late Italian dinner. We tried to organise a taxi back but was 25 and taxi company didn't answer the phone.

    Good stay for one night on our road trip around Italy.
    Comfortable room & lovely pool & spa areas. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choice.
    We didnt find the reception staff very friendly on arrival.

    Nice hotel with good restaurant Nice rooms
    There was a party going on and I was not informed at my arrival. My room went directly to the venue and I was not able to sleep. When I asked if something can be done they told me it is only going on for another half hour. I booked a hotel outside the city to have some quiet and relaxing time.

    Perfect for a visit to Matera
    Business / congress type of hotel but with both an indoor and outdoor swimmingpool also very suitable for tourists. For a visit to Matera, a nice place outside the busy city center

    By 9.30 the very limited 'hot' food at breakfast was cold or gone. Minimal choice of fruit. Pool bar never opened (1st week in September). Only had choice of 4 main courses at dinner (beef, fishx2, vegetarian) which was good but same every day. No other restaurants nearby. Could not provide an iron for the room. Wife found stranger looking into our 3rd floor room while getting dressed as no barrier between balconies. Multiple problems with bathroom with broken toilet seat, jammed bath/shower selector, jammed plug in sink. Maintenance came but only fixed toilet seat.

    Comfortable, relaxing stay.
    The pools, wellness area and grounds are lovely. There's plenty of room to relax and unwind. The room was great and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast is excellent and it is easy to get to Matera and the surrounding areas. Would go again.
    We could hear people talking in the room above us, which was a bit unfortunate as we were hoping for some good night sleep. Our mattress was very very soft, but we realised that by turning it around it was quite comfortable.
