Quaint, beautiful place with helpful, attentive host

The location is delightful. A quiet, peaceful location near Colva and only a 10-minute walk from Sernabatim Beach. It is perfect to enjoy the beauty of Goa while avoiding the tourist crowd. The host and the caretaker were always ready to help in every way. The host helped arrange transport for us every day, which was really helpful. We had a minor medical emergency one day, and the host went above and beyond to address the emergency and helped us resolve it with impressive alacrity and rapidity. We had a wonderful and memorable time staying there.

The apartment, while big and furnished, felt a little neglected. There was dust in the kitchen and at the dining table. The TV in one of the bedrooms was dysfunctional and did not get fixed or replaced, despite our report. Similarly, the set-top box in the other room was out of subscription. But I would again like to emphasize that I think the host and the caretaker were trying there utmost, and it is probably that they do not have the adequate manpower to maintain a hotel-like cleanliness in a villa of such a large size. Anyway, one rarely goes to Goa to watch TV, so it was not that big of a problem. I would stay there again without a second thought, but I feel that a little more effort in addressing the overall cleanliness of the villa will go a long way in making this an absolute top choice for staying near Colva.

Lovely accommodation and would recommend!

Host was welcoming, property and gardens well maintained and the room was very clean. We knew it wasnt walking distance to the beach but we had a car so it didnt matter.

Exceptional

Reminded me of a warm welcome and a hug from a good friend while being away from home.

The villa had a homely, colonial style feel. We loved the balcony where you could just sit and watch the traffic whizz by. Its not beside a very busy street so it wasnt noisy and you have your privacy.

Nothing. It was perfect. Just a note to the wise tho: the villa is a house with a staircase that leads you up to the room. Other than two flights of stairs to carry your luggage up, alls good.

The Location of this villa is very good but if you are a tourist you have to travel for 1 or 2 hours to visit any tourist points it's far from this location.

The caretaker is a little bit lazy he didn't check the rooms or floor regularly we are facing a water logging issue in our room & they do not have any other option how to clean it neatly. They don't have extra door mats or any other facility to resolve this type of issue. Food option is not available at this villa. Need to focus on more facilities as this location is outside of the city.

Superb

We made the right choice staying here. We stayed for 7 nights. Apart from the cleanliness and comfort staying there Ruben the host is exceptionally one of a kind. He made us feel it a second home to us. Unforgettable stay. Ruben suggested places to visit and also to dine. He even went out of the way and presented us with a delicious cake on my birthday. We had a very peaceful stay.
