    Secluded attractive property near Sorrento- perfect for a family or group
    Beautiful quiet location above Sorrento. The owner was very responsive and super helpful. The environment around is very pretty.
    The property was nice - maybe some of the decor is a little dated but it felt quite authentic and had been a family home. Because my family were inter railing we didnt have a car so taxis to and from town were quite expensive for 5 of us at 30 Euros each way. Maybe hire a car if you stay here as its really too far out of town to walk.

    Happy, comfortable and great value in a quiet location.
    Quiet and peaceful retreat out of the busy centre of Sorrento with everything we needed. Having a washing machine to catch up on our washing was a massive bonus. We had a nice 15 minute walk downhill into town. Guiseppe was a wonderful host.
    Returning to the property at night needed to be by taxi as it is not safe for pedestrians in the dark due to the narrow twisty road. The cost of the taxi to go 800m was usually 25 euros.

    The location was out of town and fairly peaceful. The outdoor courtyard was lovely and the grill and pizza oven was a nice touch, the area was so nice that we grilled at home for 2 of the 3 nights of our stay. There is also a market adjacent and below which sold basic supplies at a reasonable cost. The host was very cheerful and attentive. Parking was allocated, we hired a car bit in hindsight motorbikes would have been a better option due to traffic and limited parking in sorrento and coastline. Would recommend if looking for a out of the way stay and like to cook over a open flame grill.
    The kitchen was undersupplied for cooking at home. Limited cutlery, glasses and plates for six people. Only 1 sharp knife for prepping food. The oven did not appear to work and abit more coals and firelighters would have been great without access to an electric oven. Hot water supplied via solar panels resulting in colder showers after day 1(with 6 people), 3 more guests arrived who also shared the hot water supply and use of the courtyard. Wifi was intermittent.

    Beautiful retreat
    The setting is stunning, just up the hill from town nestled in lemon groves. Best of all, it was extremely quiet and peaceful. we also loved the neighbors very friendly cats that visited. Management was friendly and helpful.
    No complaints. Directions for the washing machine would be helpful for your average American. :)
