    Situated near Diocletian's Palace in one of the oldest parts of Split, this newly renovated stone villa is within walking distance of many of the citys attractions.The ferry to the islands is also ju (Read More)st 2 km away, so you can easily make a day trip out to olta, Bra or Hvar. Alternatively, the beach is not far away, so you could just spend some time lounging on the sand or go and explore the monuments of this UNESCO-listed city.The air-conditioned rooms are situated over 3 floors, so if you dont fancy taking the stairs, make sure you request a room on the lower floors.

    Perfect accommodation in a perfect location.
    We arrived early and there was a contact number on the door. We sent a text and within a few minutes Ana came to us and got us checked in. She was very pleasant and gave us info on things to do and answered any questions we had. The accommodation is close to everything. Would definitely stay here again.
    We couldn't fault anything.

    Location was amazing , we stayed for 1 night here and found it to be a perfect place to stay in the heart of the city. There is no need to look for any hotel , just go for this one

    Loved the comfort but especially the location.
    The staff were amazing and helpful. They also kept the place clean and arranged a taxi for us to and from the airport which was very kind of them and was a fair price. Mostly they are so central we could walk to any place in Split. I hope to go back there again.

    In the middle of everything, the house is near the water, near Diocletians Palace, near many restaurants. The owners are warm and friendly and helpful.
    Its a great place to stay. We made the mistake of driving. The streets are narrow in the old town and little parking. The owner actually walked out into the town and found us and led us back to our room. Now thats service!!

    Incredible location, great host, perfect experience!
    Greg was an incredible host who was responsive to our requests, needs, and concerns! The location itself was probably 11/10, couldnt get any better. Highly recommend Villa Varo!
    We had internet issues on day 1, but it was resolved as soon as we raised it to Greg.

    Quite place within walking distance to central
    Host was very accomodating, for which we are grateful for. Hotel is located on a quite road in the middle of old town, so can walk anywhere.

    Gregory, the host, was exceptionally kind and helpful. The room was clean, everything worked, and it was comfortable.
    Booking.com pictures were misleading as to exactly what to expect for the room.
