    Located on the banks of Loch Long with breathtaking views of the Arrochar Alps, the Village Inn offers en-suite rooms and free WiFi in all areas.The buildings character is complemented by individual (Read More)room features including a TV, tea/coffee facilities and a private bathroom. Some rooms overlook the loch.Seasonal, locally sourced produce, including seafood, is served in the restaurant. Refreshing drinks and afternoon tea are served in the bar, which has 2 log fires. Guests can also relax in the beer garden, which overlooks Loch Long.There are many walks and trails stopping off in local villages. Arrochar and Tarbet Rail Station is under 5 minutes drive from the Inn. The Village Inn is open all year round including Christmas, when guests can enjoy the scenery whilst sitting beside the log fire.

    The food wasnt great, room was ok but fan was caked in dust and we only noticed after having it on for a while so the room was very stuffy after that.

    Good location, excellent facilities- food drink views
    Spot on location for our journey, which was the pointEverything needed was on site, so after a long journey we could just relax. Easy to find. Only a pit stop so didnt get the chance to look around but it looks a very good location.
    A minor grumble that the pillows could be softer. I know first world problem

    Would visit again.
    Very comfortable rooms. Nice Nespresso coffee machines in rooms. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.
    Breakfast was Ok - no cereal, fruit, jam or marmalade. Dinner was average but good service and comfortable setting.

    Great dog friendly overnight stop
    Lovely quiet situation and incredibly dog friendly. Room 6 was great for the dogs The pub was beautifully decorated for Christmas and has a really nice cosy feel. Staff were very cheerful, friendly and helpful. Great place for an overnight stop.
    Pillows were a bit past their sell by date The music in the bar was a little loud and the food could have been a little better but breakfast was good

    Good location. Good selection of ales. Food was good
    Didnt expect to be staying in the cottage which meant going out in the rain to get there and back to the hotel (perhaps this should be made clear on booking).. Views were terrible, gas tanks out the back. Rooms were clean but a small alcove about 4ft high to hang clorhes. Window didnt work and were dirty. Breakfast was disappointing as no cereal, toast and jam, yoghurts etc offered, only cooked breakfasts. Log fire in bar was not lit once during visit
