    Lovely for a weekend trip, but very noisy - not suitable for light sleepers.
    Lovely staff, great breakfast and spa. Clean and comfortable room. The shuttle to the centre of the city is really convenient, but there are some great trattorias less than a 10 mins walk away.
    We booked a Superior Room without a river view - it was incredibly noisy as the front of the hotel is on a very busy main road. The rooms are completely exposed. We were moved twice before being offered a room by the river, which we really appreciated - but even then, we could hear EVERYTHING from the rooms upstairs and next door. Toilet flushing, people talking, doors opening and closing... we were disappointed considering the price.

    A fun place to stay. Loved cycling and running along the river each day before our city tours.
    We went in late October, the pool was cold but I loved it. The hotel and staff were exceptional in all aspects. We had a couple of meals at the hotel that were fun and interesting. We also booked a couple of high-end restaurants in the city which we didn't enjoy as much but with the help of the concierge we went to a couple of local restaurants to the hotel that were fabulous. If you are happy to be just outside the city next to the beautiful river with canoeists and rowers practicing just outside your window, this is the hotel for you.
    Nothing could have improved our stay. The people and the building were just perfect. If we had one criticism the price of ice cream was a little OTT.

    Brilliant place amazing city
    Amazing staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Lovely breakfast and dinner. My 9 y loved the spa facilities !
    It was a bit further away from the historic centre than expected. We made good use of the shuttle car which is a great idea. But we still Had to take a fair number of taxis.

    rooms size/configuration within the same category is massively different and here depend on the admin's priorities. also no connected room available and difficult when with a family.

    Wonderful location with attentive staff and clean beautiful rooms.
    Loved our room with a view of the river. The breakfast was exceptional with so many delicious options. We enjoyed cocktails from the bar before and after our daily adventures. The staff was wonderful and always willing to help with transportation and recommendations.

    check in , attentiveness of staff, service of staff superb, cleanliness outstanding!! only thing would be a little more breakfast variety ie make us an omelette or pancakes, waffles but mainly make omelettes, but other than that outstanding !!
