    What a beautiful and quaint property tucked up on a hill in the woods. It's like you're staying at someone's home. You also have some personal touches on your table for breakfast. Very lovely place.
    The property is quite the hike from the main part of the city. I definitely recommend having a car or knowing the bus route and schedule for getting around. A taxi is very expensive in this city.

    A special stay in a beautiful hotel!
    We have stayed here for the past 3 years for the christmas market and have loved our stay each time! The rooms are huge but extremely cosy and we love the at home feel in the rooms and at breakfast time. Breakfast and food in the restaurant is always very tasty! We love the walk down into the town and how close you are to many beautiful walking routes! We cant wait to come back again!

    Beautiful forest setting but walkable into Baden Baden if you can manage hills.
    Good food at breakfast and dinner. Rooms were comfortable. Lovely setting by the forest.
    Quite a lot of insects so window nets would be useful in the hot summer months so you can leave the windows open at night.

    Superb place to stay and the evening meal was delicious. Great breakfast too
    Super hotel and place to stay. With it being the end of the season only 1 other guest staying. We were treated like royalty and really looked after.

    Enjoyed our stay very much
    A beautiful place in the middle of a forest. It's extremely close to many great hiking trails. It is a very quiet place. Good connection to the town. Simple but good food in the restaurant and for breakfast. There is always Schwarzwlder Kirschtorte at the restaurant, which is made there and tastes delicious. The bedroom was extremely clean and comfortable.

    Serene hotel
    Very professionally run establishment. Situated out of town on a hill, giving it a lovely serene feel. Breakfast was good and the room and bathroom were very spacious.

    Disappointing compared to last year
    Location is lovely and quite with good parking and away from the town. The rooms are beautiful and the bed is so comfortable. Restaurant on site so no need to drive/taxi into town.
    Everything was lovely in this hotel when we stopped last year which was the reason we booked again but it looks like its changed management and not for the better. Staff were not as friendly, food not as nice and the place was dead and it was a Friday night in August. We were told to pay our bill at 7:45 as it was closing and could no longer get any drinks.
