Skiing enthusiasts will find over 40 km of cross-country ski tracks close to the Wannenkopfhütte, and can visit the nearby ski resorts of Grasgehren (6 km) and Balderschwang (13 km). The property is a 20-minute walk from the parking lot at the Fischen im Allgäu train station. Baggage transport up the hill is free of charge, but no transfer is possible.
