    Lovely short break very quiet getaway
    Lovely wood burner and a comfy bed in a lovely sleepy village
    Difficult to find even when we were in the car park but that was because it was very dark around the property and we arrived at 6pm

    Excellent location, very comfortable and quiet.
    The house is old and full of character. It seemed a bit cold at first but soon warmed up. The kitchen was extremely well set up and the sitting room was very comfortable. The bedrooms were very comfortable with a good bed. It was extremely quiet and all in all very relaxing. There are three pubs in Cerne Abbas which seem to do good food.

    Thank you! Its the little things that really make the stay and they were certainly provided.
    Perfect country retreat. Snug, accommodating, clean and they provide all the little things you need like dishwasher tablets and so on. Location is great and private as well.

    The fire was amazing really cozy and warm loved it . The beds were so comfy and the duvets and pillows made for a perfect night's sleep
    The sofa wasn't thay comfy and could do with abit of a clean. There were a few dead spiders under the stairs and a dead wasp my grandson almost stood on upstairs in the bathroom. We were disappointed that the pool wasnt ready too be used particularly as we were told that it would be.

    We loved our stay at West Cottage and particularly appreciated the kindness of our hostess, Lucy.
    The property was well equipped, clean, quiet and warm. We loved the garden and the bridle paths leading into the hills. We also loved the books on the area and the care with which the place was maintained.
    The property may be too remote for some people but for us, that was a positive.

    Very pretty and peaceful location. Lucy asked if we minded her horses grazing on the lawn outside in the evening. As we love horses we were very happy to see them. Lucys dog was an added bonus. We were lucky with the weather and it was lovely to sit outside with a G & T in the sun.
    Stairs but thats because Im not used to them.

    Dirty, chipped and dirty crockery, sofa had multiple stains. No mattress protectors, dirty windows which didnt close / lock.
