Great little chalet

The place is beautiful, nicely decorated with everything you could possibly need. Located close to the beach, and a short drive to the ferry. Although there are no signs to indicate where this (or any) chalet is located, its directly to your right after the first speed hump after entry. The hosts are very communicative and friendly! Respond quickly and are eager to give a great stay!

The only thing that could be improved would be the cleanliness. The floor was very dirty and there was a lot of dirt/dust under the furniture (our dogs ball kept going under them), thankfully i had my slippers but my husbands socks were getting so dirty he decided to just wear trainers the whole time.

Loved the homely touches, the decor, the location! It was a lovely stay, managed to explore the island and then retreat to the chalet in the evenings where it was warm and comfortable. I will definitely book to stay again on my next visit!

Wonderful Stay.

Loved the views, location and beaches. Everything we needed..booklet was very informative. Hosts kept in touch which was great.

Low signal for Bbc 1 and 2 on TV, but no fault of the hosts, very minor and would definitely return and recommend to friends and family. Thankyou so much.

Quiet location, lovely chalet

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the beach and 5 minutes drive from the shops. Absolutely spotless conditions and lovely decor, we had a lovely stay. Everything we needed was there, crockery to towels from kettle to microwave to even dog bowls.

Small things: cracked drinking glass, one key instead of two, missed bits of cleaning. Nothing to spoil our holiday, though.

A perfect stay

An absolutely beautiful chalet, really well decorated and equipped, there is everything that you need for a self catering holiday. The first thing I noticed after the lovely decor was the really clean smell, lovely linen and pillows. It's a lovely area for dog walks and a 30 minute walk to the centre of Sandown. The hosts are very responsive to questions (I'm a hopeless traveller and Rowena helped me out with my questions very quickly and is super friendly) The link we got for the ferry saved us a lot of money and they were very helpful when we had to change our return journey time. It was a lovely experience and I would highly recommend, especially with dogs I have included photos of the lovely dog walk x

A lovely few days in this v reasonably priced chalet.

Exceptional clean and the interior finished to a very high standard. Lots of thoughtful touches greeted us on arrival such as tea and milk and yummy biscuits. Rowena- the host was very responsive and extremely understanding when we had to change our arrival date to a day later then anticipated and refunded us the difference. This was greatly appreciated :), as was the later then advertised checkout time.

It took us a bit of time to work out how to get hot water for the shower. In the end we realised that the hot water dial was actually for cold water and vice versa. The shower doors had a gap and werent flush when trying to close the doors. We got round it by ensuring we stood in front of the gap so that water didnt come through the gap and onto the bathroom floor. Neither of the above detracted from what was a lovely, much needed break.
