Very good

Nice little guesthouse in the middle of a family compound. It's a bit away from one of the main streets, not much traffic around, close to the rice fields (you can walk through the compound to get to the rice fields), local food market and supermarkets. Owners are very friendly, provided early breakfast two days in a row to accommodate our pick up times. Breakfast is very tasty and different each day.

During our stay, the temple on the other side of the road hosted a community event for a couple of nights. This included loud music until late at night (2am). Both owners apologized several times and we know that they can't influence such events. However, as the event had big advertisement in front of the temple, we would have appreciated a notice after we booked, as we picked the guest house due to its quiet location.

The hosts were lovely, very helpful and attentive. The room was cool and dark and away from the busy, noisy part of town, but still an easy walking distance. The breakfast was delicious and was enjoyed in the most beautiful, serene courtyard garden with koi pond. Seeing the offerings set out daily was a great insight into Balinese culture. Would definitely stay here again, as the location, comfort and ambience exceeded the very reasonable price of accommodation. Thank you for a lovely stay!
