It was horrible, Im really considering not using this site again
The location was nice, the view was beautiful
I had to call three times for a broken remote, they were renovating so parking was horrible, we were woken by sounds of hammering, the hallways reeked of smoke, there was no phone in any of the rooms (which with all the trafficking and things going on its needed, I have stage 4 lung cancer and it was just my son and I and really needed a phone if there was an emergency) There ONLY elevator that was working broke down for a period. The on-site cafe was out of almost everything and the pricing was not great for what you got.

We always like the location to the beach! Staff was friendly. The heated pool!!
The big pool could be heated like the smaller pool. There needs to be an service elevator for housekeeping staff. We had to wait longer because there were shared elevators.

The fact I drove 8 hours to be told I cant have the room I booked due to they had overbooked and had elevator to go down a few days prior to my arrival. They didnt try to contact me to let me know the situation so I could make the decision whether to change my reservation or not. When we arrived the ones working the desk wasnt very helpful. The manager the next day was nice though. They had some sort of remodeling that sounded like they were jackhammering early in the morning. The smell of cigarette smoke coming through the heater. Someone was shooting fireworks off the balcony near us.

It was better the first time but I'm not giving up
We have stayed at this hotel before and it was so amazing that when we realized we were coming back to Florida we didn't even check anywhere else. This time it was apparently under reconstruction. The whole place was rather chaotic. The restaurant was only open occasionally and it had an extremely limited menu due to "shortages". The staff was, as always very friendly and helpful. I believe they were doing their best.
Everything seemed to be out of order. The elevators didn't work in some buildings. There was construction debris everywhere.

The kitchen had a lot of bugs coming out at night. I am used to have beach chairs when I rent an apartment. there was nothing, not even towels in the kitchen to dry off dishes or a "starter" kit of dish detergent. The sliding door to the balcony was very difficult to open.

Been here before and loved it. This trip was not the same. None if the previous offerings were available. No DJ (as advertised) no bikes (as advertised) got hit with extra parking fees after we got flooded out of our room at 3 am too......
