Location, walking distance from Torquay's restaurants. Bar underneath the hotel.

Room looks better in pictures than reality. Bar shuts really early like 8 to 9pm

Well situated, Clean and friendly

The staff were friendly but not imposing which was lovely. Breakfast was great in what was available and cleanliness. Our room was clean and bed so comfortable.

Exceptional

Great, relaxing break before Christmas

We had an upgrade at no extra cost so was very good, bed was massive and comfortable, breakfast was very good, bar good , location great, very good value and will be looking to book again. Great little relaxing break before Christmas.

Didnt find anything we didnt like.

Don't be fooled by the pictures online

Location was good and it had onsite parking

Room was small, overcrowded and dingy. The bed was uncomfortable and the matress was cheap. We felt like we'd been put into a room used to dump random pieces of furniture in. You took your life into your hands using the kettle, there was only one place to plug it in and this involved reaching over a camping table to reach a socket in the corner of the room. The kettle wasn't cordless, which meant reaching back over once it boiled, fiddle to unplug it so you could make your tea. Went into town to buy a towel due to fear of staining the ones provided and incurring a charge. Only member of staff seen was the man who ran the bar downstairs, he was very polite but knew little about the hotel. Don't be fooled by the pictures online. It's a very tired place

Nice stay!

Amazing central location! Very nice breakfast, room was very clean.

Needs a bit of TLC, but the rooms were clean and warm. Our room was a bit noisy from the rain, I think there might have been a drainage outlet outside our window.
