Disappointing

Bad value for money and location is totally off-grid

Rooms were nice and big and provided a fridge. The beds are comfy and some have a very nice view. There is a restaurant onsite and the food was nice in the evening.

there were loud groups of families who were noisy until late in the evening/morning. Looks like staff cannot do anything against it as it may be a cultural thing and respect towards other guests is less a thing in hotels in India. Breakfast is not too nice and the coffee is bad but ok, it is a tea country and should be respected for it. The location is off-grid and it takes a long time to get up to Gangtok. You cannot walk there even though I am a good walker.

Great hotel and staff, beware of location!

Rooms are very spacious with balconies overlooking either the pool or mountains, food served in restaurant was good

Hotel is located very far from downtown Gangtok (30 min bumpy taxi ride) so thats something that must be taken into account. It affords peace and serenity but makes it difficult to access restaurants and other facilities in downtown.
