Guests loved their stay at Aberdunant Hall, praising the cabanas with stunning views, well-equipped facilities, and delicious breakfast on the terrace. A visitor from a friend's caravan also appreciated the lovely site, nearby walks, and upmarket restaurant. Great staff, cabin not so much.

Staff were lovely and did what they could to put things right. We went in-between christmas and new year so workmen not fully available. They were very busy but credit to them, were very polite and helpful. They didn't charge for breakfast or a round of drinks as compensation. Customer service was great on their behalf. Grounds lovely, restaurant food was delicious. Fridge in room and coffee pod maker. Room size was good.

Cabin facilities poor. Everything looked fantastic on the website. Showers didn't work properly, no toilet rolls in the bathroom (which was corrected), bed was uncomfortable and very low down.. It did not look or feel like the sheets had been changed. Not shown how to use the heating or light settings, quite a complicated set-up. Stains on the couch.

A beautiful location and a stunning 17thC hall. We stayed in Room 1 with incredible views towards the mountains and especially Cnicht.

Superb

From breakfast to bedtime my family and I had a most wonderful stay, our stay was such value for money and we felt truly pampered by the staff. The local ambience and in-house amenities were a treat we had a room with a spa bath and that truly felt like a welcomed treat after a day of driving.

None, to be honest it was a truly delightful stay and a great value for money trip.

Sadly didnt live up to last years visit.

The quietness of the location, and the spa bath.

Upon checking in we were appalled to see a male member of staff dragging chairs through reception, creating unnecessary noise in a quiet area. We were here last year, and to be fair this last experience was a little disappointing, especially having travelled for 2.1/2 hours.

We stayed at the gatekeepers cottage, which was spectacular

Hard to find where we were staying as the entire place is huge. Slightly complicated to find where to check in - initial email could be improved.

Disappointing

Location

Although the room looked nice at first glance you'll start to notice poor workmenship, eg knobs on doors/drawers loose, poorly applied mastic around shower, only bottom two rungs of a six foot towel heater actually only got hot. They had an event on, Christmas party maybe or some kind of other party with loud music. I had intended an early night as I had an early start the next day but this was never mentioned to me. Perhaps before my free cancellation date they should have contacted me to let me know so I could have changed to a different hotel. They didn't even mention it when I checked in.

Id 100% visit again

No17 was incredible, so comfortable, food was incredible atmosphere was good staff were so nice

The room was freezing cold when we first entered as the heating was off, this didnt last long so its fine, one of the led strips under the bed wouldnt switch off, covered in pillows so we sorted this, it was busy so getting a table for dinner was hard we didnt eat till gone 9pm
