    Udara and the staff are absolutely loving and caring! The pool is very clean and so are the rooms, which is quiet outstanding in SL. If you are locking for a home not just a stay, this is your place.
    This has nothing to do with the quality of the Home, but I need to mention it: the railway runs next to the house.

    Gamini and family, who own/manage Abundia are exceptional hosts. From the outset Gamini and the staff made sure that we we felt looked after, as though we were distinguished guests. The property is clean and very comfortable and the home made Sri Lankan breakfast is amazing. The pre arranged home cooked dinner was also delicious. We couldnt have asked for a better introduction to Sri Lanka and all accomodation will now be measured against the service we received at Abundia. Free water refills and sustainable sanitary products were a nice eco touch. We would recommend Abundia to anyone wishing to stay in and around Unawatuna

    Immaculate service in any aspect! Very spacious rooms! Big and tasty Sri Lankan style breakfast!
    I arrived here for 1 night just to explore Unawatuna area. The plan was to move to a more convenient place. In the end I stayed here for a week! Gamini the Manager and the Owner took care of all my needs exceeding any expectations!
    The place is in good hands, and there is nothing to improve there!

    One of the best places I've stayed. The family was super nice, the breakfast was huge and with variety, the room was very clean and comfy. It's in the main road away from the tourist center and the swimming pool it's just wicked. I would definetly come back. Also ask the owner (the father) for the special prawns dinner. Thank you for everything!

    Amazing stay and hospitality at Abundia
    They gave us an amazing room to make our anniversary special. The staff especially the uncle who takes care of guests is 10 on 10. Breakfast is 20 on 10. Would recommend Abundia to anyone visiting Unawatuna :)
    They lock the gates post 10 pm for security purposes so you need to coordinate a Lil bit but that didn't create any problem for us

    Absolute gem, a must stay!
    Super accommodating host, extremely kind and friendly - we really felt at home! The property is gorgeous and the pool is lovely. Really clean room and tasty food - they made us a packed lunch breakfast when we had an early train. Will be recommending to any friends visiting Sri Lanka!
