They gave away the room we booked. We booked a King room a week before our trip and arrived at 3 pm to check in. They gave us a key without telling us it was for a room with two double beds. We went right back to the desk and were told they did not have a king room available I booked this hotel, spent extra money, because we wanted the king room. We had no choice but to stay in the sub par room, but they acted like we should be happy about it I told the manager that we should at least get breakfast free for our troubles, she said ok and gave us two voucher (more on this later) Went back up to the
double room to find out the ac wasnt working and the door bolt locks and sticks every time you open the door. We had to waste time in our room while maintenance staff worked on the air conditioning, we didnt dare add the door lock issue or we would have missed dinner there was no shampoo in the shower dispenser, the floors were dirty, turned my feet black. The bed was uncomfortably small for us so we did not sleep well. We went down to get our complimentary breakfast in the morning, the oddest breakfast I have every seen in a hotel! There were 4 plastic covered plates with 3 or 4 thin slices of cold lunch meat on them, some cold cereal, yogurt, and 2 hot egg dishes you could order. We laughed and said we were glad we were not paying the $15 pp they charge normally. Well they told us at the end of the meal that the vouchers were only worth $10 toward our breakfast and they only could accept one of them a day the bill was over $30 with nothing extra added. Needless to say customer service is not their priority!!!
